Crafting

While writing and performing music brings me joy in abundance, crafting brings me peace. I love to make and decorate colourful boxes, stones and fabric crafts, and often make these for my beloved people. Each piece is unique and marks a wonderful moment in my life. My mother loved to sew, and used to rescue bits and pieces from other people’s rubbish and fix them up. Though North American, I suppose this was a bit akin to the British ‘make do and mend’ mentality. And I thank my mother for teaching me the joy of making things with my hands.
