We are all kin.

  • In the beginning

As a child, I had many cuddly animals, whom I adored. They each had a name and a voice and a personality. They were my friends and my comfort. Although my family didn’t have a cat, dog or othrer animal at home, my maternal grandparents had a Golden Retriever called Ginger. She taught me about unconditional love and joy.

  • Animals are our teachers

As an adult, I’ve been blessed to welcome two canine companions into my life. First, there was Honey, the rescue wonderdog, and now there is Roxy, the adored Border Terrier. Both have taught me so much about living in the present moment, about loyalty, patience and trust. I am forever grateful.

  • Reverence & Gratitude

Time stands still when I am in the presence of wildlife, each species with its own amazing medicine and way of being in the world. During the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the local London wildlife - squirrels, foxes and parakeets - sustained me.

  • Mindfulness of the Climate Crisis

I have been blessed to travel widely to photograph animals. The gravity of the Climate Crisis compels me to look deeply into the impact of travel on our Mother Earth. I currently am committed to only flying on one trip per year.
